Bkb: Argentina come from behind to beat Greece

ATHENS, Aug 26 Reuters - Argentina blew an early lead but roared back in the second
half to edge Olympic hosts Greece 69-64 and advance to the semi-finals of the men's basketball
tournament.

Luis Scola hit a pair of free throws with 23.4 seconds left to put the score at 67-64
in a tense fourth quarter that had the capacity crowd at the Olympic Indoor Hall out of
its seat with each possession of the ball.

Greece had a chance to tie the game on the next possession, but Fragkiskos Alvertis
threw up a wild three pointer that fell well short of the basket.

Argentina face the United States in one of tomorrow's semi-finals, with Italy and Lithuania
squaring off in the other.
