SARATOGA SPRINGS - You can find a treasure most days sitting in Box 15 in section E, just a couple lengths past the finish line at Saratoga Race Course. Rosie Vener is 99 years old and has been coming to the races for 84 years.

Vener, who says she pretty much goes with the handicappers for her bets but always is looking for a good tip, first came to Saratoga by horse-and-buggy from her home in Albany with her father when she was 15.

"The only thing different then was that everybody at the track was dressed up in their Sunday best," said Vener, who turned 99 on July 4.
