WALTER F. MURRAY, JR.(CAPITAL REGION)

ROTTERDAM -- Walter F. Murray, Jr., 43, died suddenly Friday at St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Troy, he was the son of Walter F. Murray, Sr. of Troy and the late Constance A. Brearton Murray. Mr. Murray was a graduate of School 18 in Troy, LaSalle Institute in Troy in 1973 and Manhattan College in 1977. For the past six years, he has been employed as the controller and chief financial officer for Community Health Center (C.H.C.) in Johnstown. Mr. Murray was a member of the Pinehaven Country Club in Guilderland where he was the club champion in 1997, the Emerald Club in Troy and was a manager and coach in the Rotterdam Girls Softball League.
