PUBLIC sector doctors are preparing for a national strike should the government fail to table satisfactory salary proposals at today's crucial bargaining council meeting.
As yet, no Western Cape hospitals have been affected, although doctors at the Red Cross Children's Hospital have been wearing black in solidarity.
