CONFERENCE FOR OFFICIALS.(CAPITAL REGION)

TROY -- The Office of the State Comptroller, Division of Municipal Affairs, and the Association of Towns of the State of New York will present a live, interactive teleconference for newly elected and re-elected town officials titled ``What Do We Do Now?'' from 6:15 to 8:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County, 61 State St. Topics will include powers and duties, town budget, transitional issues, conducting town board meetings, freedom of information, open meetings law, appointments, financial reporting, conflicts of interest and records management. Registration is $10 a person.
